Hildene Celebrates Lincoln Hall Opening with Renowned Lincoln Scholar
Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home, marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of Lincoln Hall, its new year-round programming facility.

September 30, 2024 MANCHESTER, VT - The opening celebration for Lincoln Hall at Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home featured a keynote address by New York Times bestselling author Ronald C. White, who spoke to a packed audience about the enduring values of Abraham Lincoln and their relevance in today's world.

Brian Keefe, President of Hildene, expressed enthusiasm about the new opportunities Lincoln Hall brings: "We're very excited about the new programming and partnership possibilities with Lincoln Hall. This facility provides us with a year-round space to share Hildene's values and ideas with broader audiences."
Lincoln Hall represents a major expansion of Hildene's capabilities, allowing for increased educational and cultural programming throughout the year. The next phase of the project, Phase Two, will focus on completing the lower level, which will include a brand new exhibition space, meeting and conference rooms, expanded food service facilities, and more.

Looking ahead, Hildene is already planning new events for 2025, including multi-day conferences and innovative community partnerships. These initiatives aim to further Hildene's mission of fostering education and preserving the legacy of the Lincoln family.
