SUMMER AT HILDENE

FABULOUS FORESTS & ECO-EXPLORER CAMPS

Enroll your child in the fun experience of Summer Camping at Hildene

If your child would like to sign up for more than two camps, or even repeat a favorite, they are now welcome to do so. A limited number of places are still available in two of Hildene's nature-based summer camps: Fabulous Forest Camp and Eco-Explorer Camp.

Fabulous Forest Camp is July 20–24, for children entering grades 4–6. Here, the forest becomes a playground, inspiring games, wildcrafting, and hands-on contemplation of woodland ecosystems. Campers are invited to discover that the forest is more than just trees. Through exploration, games, wild crafting, and hands-on learning, campers investigate the flora, fauna, habitats, and life cycles that make up the diverse forest communities of the Taconic and Green Mountains.

Eco-Explorer Camp is July 27–31, for children entering grades 4–6. Here, the exploration of Hildene’s ecosystems inspires curiosity and environmental stewardship as campers take a deep dive into Hildene's natural environment. Through hikes, field studies, games, and crafts, campers learn about local ecosystems, discover how nature stays balanced, and explore ways to help protect Vermont's beautiful Green Mountains.

Both camps offer fun-filled outdoor adventures that inspire curiosity, learning, and environmental stewardship.
