    "body": "<p><strong>MANCHESTER, VT</strong> &ndash; </p><p> </p><p>Among the tried-and-true signs that spring has bloomed at Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home, is the joyful arrival of kids, lambs and calves at Hildene Farm and the Goat Dairy. Visitors will have the chance to meet all the adorable babies at a variety of &ldquo;Meet the Baby Animals&quot; events beginning Saturday, May 9 and continuing throughout the summer. Visitors can explore both the goat dairy and dene farm, where they&#039;ll be greeted by the babies and their adult companions: alpacas, cows, chickens, rabbits, and, of course, Peaches the pig. </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Schedule of Events all Free with Admission:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&ldquo;Meet the Baby Goats,&rdquo; Saturday, May 9th, 10AM - 4:30 PM \u200b </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&ldquo;Storytime on the Farm&rdquo;: Goat Dairy, Saturday, May 23rd and 30th, June 6th and June 13<sup>th</sup>, 11AM-12PM </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&ldquo;Meet the Babies at the Animal Barn in the dene,&rdquo; June 6th, 2026, 10AM-4:30PM </p><p> \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b </p><p>&ldquo;Storytime at the Animal Barn in the dene,&rdquo; Every Sunday June 21st to July 25th, 11AM-12PM </p><p> </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>To enhance your experience at Hildene, be sure to visit Robert and Mary Lincoln&rsquo;s 24 room Georgian Revival mansion and the formal garden at the top of the hill. Then take a stroll to explore the 1903 restored wooden Pullman car, Sunbeam, and the &quot;Many Voices&quot; exhibit. Take time to see the Kitchen and Cutting Gardens behind the Welcome Center and browse in The Museum Store.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>IF YOU GO:</strong> All guests must check in at the Hildene Welcome Center to pay admission or pick up their member stickers. From Memorial Day until October 31st, golfcart shuttles (&ldquo;trams&rdquo;) are available. The upper-level trams leave every 15 minutes and stop at the Lincoln Home, the Pullman Railcar and the Goat Dairy. A separate tram goes to the farm in the dene every 30 minutes on the hour and half-hour.
